Notice of Electronic Filing Phishing Scam
The District of Idaho has received information that fake Notices of Electronic Filing (NEF) are circulating nationwide. If the recipient responds to the message, they are sent a follow-up email containing a link to access a document that leads the recipient to a malicious website.
The District of Idaho is pleased to announce two bench bar conferences again this year: September 20, 2024, at the Shoshone Bannock Casino and Hotel in Fort Hall and October 11, 2024, at Boise Centre in Boise. This year's theme is "The Tradition Continues". Join us at either conference location to see what's new in the District!
Our Conference this year will feature exciting sessions on topics including The U.S. Supreme Court's most recent and upcoming terms, Hot Topics in Election Law, Ethics of Lawyers on Television and the presentation of a documentary The Nisei Paradox pertaining to the constitutional quandary involving WW II internment camps and the draft. We'll wrap up both conferences with our traditional judicial panel, where attendees have the ability to ask questions of our federal judges during the registration process. 5.5 hours of MCLE is pending.
